Technology introduction:
316L stainless steel is an austenitic stainless steel. With a maximum carbon content of 0.03, it can be used in applications that cannot be annealed after welding and require maximum corrosion resistance.316L stainless steel has better corrosion resistance than 304 stainless steel, and has good corrosion resistance in the production of pulp and paper. Also, 316 stainless steel is resistant to marine and aggressive industrial atmospheres.
Typical applications: heat exchangers for pulp and paper equipment, dyeing equipment, film processing equipment, piping, and exterior materials for buildings in coastal areas.
AISI316L/SUS316L/S31603 chemical composition:
Fe:margin;C:≤0.03%;Si:≤1.0%;Mn:≤2.0%;S:≤0.03%;P:≤0.045%;Cr:16.0%-18.0%;Ni:10.0%-14.0%;Mo:2.0%-3.0%.
